Process connection is a complex service being provided by grid companies to legal entities and natural persons with the purpose of facilitation of consumption (supply) of electric capacity, which service provides for physical connection of consumers' power installations to grid objects.

The process connection service is provided to newly connected consumers, as well as to consumers who are in need of increased power consumption, and includes a complex of actions:
- preparation and issuance of specifications for process connection;
- compliance with specifications for process connection;
- checking the compliance with specifications;
- physical connection of a consumer's power receiving devices to a grid organization's electric power network;
- ensuring work of such device;
- execution of a process connection certificate;
- entering into an agreement for provision of the electric capacity transfer service.
