The IDGC Holding On Its Way To Success conference organized by JSC IDGC Holding and Prosperity Capital Management, a London-based international investment fund, has been held today in the scope of interaction with minority shareholders. The event was attended by representatives of interregional distribution grid/distribution grid subsidiaries of IDGC Holding, top managers from a number of European electric utility companies, and minority shareholders in IDGC Holding.
In opening the conference, Aleksey Demidov, Deputy Director General for Economic Affairs and Finance of IDGC Holding, has noted that JSC IDGC Holding faces a wide range of important challenges related to the introduction of Regulatory Asset Base (RAB) regulation, a new tariff regulation system. He has pointed out that IDGC Holding will draw on international best practices in tariff regulation. The participants have shared their views on a number of issues, including the follow-up of investments in electric grid distribution facilities, cost management, and higher operating efficiency.
