Samara Distribution Grids will spend over 339 million rubles on the repair program of 2019

samara_remont.jpgThe branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (included in the Rosseti Group) - Samara Distribution Grids will send over RUB 339 million to implement the program of technical equipment and repairs in 2019.

The key will be the facilities, the equipment of which needs scheduled maintenance and overhaul. In 2019, 75,400 m of wire is planned to be replaced on 8 35-110 kV lines and 108 0.4-10 kV overhead lines. The overhaul will take place at 744 complete transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV. 1,445 switches of all voltage classes will also be repaired, 204 support-rod insulators, 13 high-voltage inputs 110 kV and other equipment have been replaced at power facilities of 35-110 kV.

One of the key components of the repair program is the clearing of power lines. This year, it is planned to clear 1,098 ha from trees and shrubs. Reliability of power supply to consumers of the Samara Region directly depends on timely and high-quality repair work.

Annually power engineers carry out equipment diagnostics, following which the facilities that need to be updated are included in the plan. Mass maintenance and repair work will begin in the spring after the end of the heating season. All planned activities will be completed by the end of September.
