The best IDGC of Volga substation was announced

ternovka.jpgIDGC of Volga, PJSC (included in the Rosseti Group) summed up the results of a competition for the best technical and aesthetic condition of substations (SS) 35 kV and above, which in 2018 was carried out in several stages. Power centers of the energy company were evaluated in terms of the technical condition of equipment, devices for relay protection and automation, the system of dispatching and technological control. The aesthetic condition of the SS territory was also taken into account.

- A review competition of substations of 35 kV and above IDGC of Volga is held annually, starting in 2010,- said Vladimir Ryabikin, General Director of IDGC of Volga, PJSC. - The main purpose of the event is the formation of a high production culture among employees, improving the quality of repairs and maintenance of substations, as well as identifying and summarizing the best examples of the operation of power centers.

According to the number of points scored, the 110/35/6 kV Ternovka 1 substation of the Saratov DG branch was recognized as the best, and the second and third places were taken by the 110/35/10 kV Nagornaya substation of the Ulyanovsk DG branch and Krasnogvardeyskaya 35/10 kV substation of Orenburgenergo branch. The winner substation was put into operation in 1981. The power supply center is located in the zone of operational responsibility of the Privolzhsky Production Division, provides electricity to more than 1,400 consumers in the Engels district of the Saratov region, as well as large agricultural facilities and oil industry enterprises in the region, including Transneft Volga Region, JSC.

High results were achieved thanks to an integrated approach during equipment repairs at the substation and contribution to the preparation for the competition from all production services of the Privolzhsky PD. In 2018, power engineers of the production division carried out a major overhaul of the main equipment (disconnectors, separators, short-circuit breakers, switches, power transformers, metal-clad switchgear), which significantly increased the energy security and system reliability of power supply to consumers.
