Chief Engineer of IDGC of Volga, PJSC became a honored power engineer in the CIS

pavlov.jpgOleg Pavlov, Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (inccluded in the Rosseti Group), was awarded the honorary title “Honored Power Engineer of the CIS”. The decision was made by the CIS Electric Power Council, assessing the significant contribution of the company's top manager to the development of integration processes in the energy sector of the CIS member states.

“Power engineering is a key area in the development of the economy of the CIS member states and plays a huge role in ensuring the normal activity of all its industries,”-Oleg Pavlov noted. - Interfacing of key aspects of work from the general electricity market to occupational safety requirements, analysis and use of the experience of colleagues, undoubtedly, contribute to the growth of reliability and efficiency of the power systems of the CIS countries.

 Oleg Grigorievich Pavlov has been working in power engineering for more than 20 years. He consistently passed through all the steps of the career ladder from an engineer of the second category of power system protection service to Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of the largest company in the Volga region and Orenburg region. O.G. Pavlov took an active part in the implementation of the largest investment projects of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, including the commissioning of 110 kV Airport in Saratov, as well as power supply centers in Samara and the Republic of Mordovia, providing power supply to stadiums and athletics facilities of the World Cup 2018.

The chief engineer unit was twice recognized as the best among the subsidiaries of the Rosseti Group in fulfilling key performance indicators, participating in the implementation of pilot projects that are significant for the entire integrated power grid and applying modern approaches and best practices. The team of IDGC of Volga power engineers is a five-times participant in the International competitions of professional skill of the personnel of the electric power industry of the CIS member states, 3 of which took “gold” and 2 times was a silver medalist.
