Power engineers of IDGC of Volga demonstrated readiness for flood to the governor of the Saratov region

img_2733.jpgExamination of flood readiness of forces and means of a regional emergency response and safety alarm system was held in Saratov. The event was attended by the governor of the region Valery Radaev.

Welcoming the participants of the examination, the head of the region noted that a large amount of moisture was accumulated in the districts of the region this spring. Therefore, all departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, law enforcement agencies, energy industry enterprises should prepare for significant work to get ahead of flood events. The branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (included in the Rosseti Group) - Saratov Distribution Grids represented the emergency response and restoration team, equipped with the necessary equipment and machinery.

Deputy chief engineer of IDGC of Volga, Konstantin Filippov demonstrated to Valery Radaev a drilling and crane machine, a hydraulic lift, a brigade car and a backup power supply source on the KAMAZ platform. - Do you have enough equipment and human resources to prevent the negative consequences of flooding? - the Governor asked. - Throughout the whole Saratov branch of IDGC of Volga territory, there are similar brigades with all the necessary transport, special equipment and mechanisms, which, if necessary, are ready to eliminate technological disturbances caused by floods as soon as possible,- said Konstantin Filippov.

 Valery Radaev thanked power engineers for their readiness and advised all emergency services not to relax and be ready for the flood to do its utmost when summing up the results of the examination.
