Power engineers of Penza completely recovered electric supply in the districts, damaged by force of nature

5255.jpgIn the afternoon of June 5, heavy rains with gusts of wind reaching 27-30 m/s were observed in a number of districts of the Penza region, which caused a power outages in a number of settlements in the region. In an expeditious manner, the restoration work began immediately after the proceeds of the first shutdown messages.

The emergency teams of Penzaenergo, a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of the Rosseti group), were immediately sent to the places of technological violations on the overhead power transmission lines. Thanks to professional and coordinated actions of power engineers, most of the damaged overhead power transmission lines were restored by 23:00 on June 5. The work was carried out continuously in close cooperation with the SI MES of Russia in the Penza region, local self-government bodies.

A total of 53 teams of "Penzaenergo" consisting of 150 people and 67 units of special equipment were involved in the works. In addition, 7 Teams from other branches of IDGC of Volga, PJSC provided assistance to Penza power engineers. 21 redundant power supplies (RPS) were promptly sent to power the socially significant facilities. Particular attention was paid to energy supplying in schools due to the period of the USE. Now Penzaenergo branch operates in a high alert regime.

Emergency recovery works, incl. on 0, 4 kV lines, are fully completed. Repair teams of Penzaenergo conduct extraordinary inspections of the lines to identify and eliminate possible defects. In this regard, some sections of the OL within the settlements can have short-term technological outages.
