img_5721.jpgSpecialists of Saratov Distribution Grids Branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (member of Rosseti Group) courageously continue emergency recovery work at power facilities in some districts of Saratov region, which were damaged as a result of weather worsening that occurred on February 4 and 5 this year.

The main reasons for damages were ice rain and wind gusts above 20 m/s. Works to rectify technological disturbances in grids were started immediately after first messages on disconnections in settlements in the territory of Bazarno-Karabulaksky, Baltaysky, Novoburassky districts. Currently 11 overhead lines of 6-20 kV and 117 transformer substations of 6-20 kV remain disconnected. 23 teams (106 people and 28 units of equipment) are engaged in emergency recovery work.

Major problems are being handled by power engineers in Novoburassky district. Effective power supply recovery is complicated by inaccessibility of certain overhead lines through roads (ice slick, snow drifts). Works are managed by the emergency operations center of IDGC of Volga, PJSC and will continue until power supply is recovered for every consumer. Specialists of Saratov Distribution Grids Branch warn residents about risk of approaching broken wires.

It is necessary to report broken wires for the purposes of fastest recovery of power supply to HOT LINE +7 800 775 16 42 or to the power distribution zone at location of broken wire.
